I have really taken a keen interest in finding things at yard sales or thrift stores that can be altered, given new life and made useful. Things like: wooden shelves, clipboards, frames, boxes, mats, composition books, notebooks...
Turn a plain, simple clipboard into a picture frame / holder. Add magnets to the back and hang on the fridge. Or hang on a hook from the wall in your office, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom as a picture frame. Or use as a clipboard to write on with a cute, delicate background.
Take a plain frame and cover it with cute patterned paper. Add your favorite picture...Makes a cute gift too.
